DAVID MAINIExecutive Chef, Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafeChef David Maini brings over 25 years of culinary experience to his role at the acclaimed Michael Jordan Steak's House and 23.sportcafe. After graduation from the Culinary Arts program at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1982, Maini received an Assistant Chef position on a small cruise ship where he traveled to exciting ports ranging from Jamaica to New York City. It was here where Maini was able to marry his enthusiasm for cooking and travel. Since then his appetite for adventure has taken him all over the world, working as a chef at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Corporate Executive Chef at Bertonlini’s in Chicago, and a Consultant for Culinary Operations in London.
Coming back to the East Coast has brought Maini full circle in this culinary journey. “I love working at the 23.sportcafe because we strive to execute and maintain the very same standards that Michael set for himself and his teammates during his career. We have the same competitive intensity that he is legendary for – we ensure our guests have the most memorable dining experience possible.”
